OUR STORY
New Life Assembly of God in Laramie, Wyoming was birthed in its current location in 2005 when Glad Tidings Assembly of God and First Assembly of God merged together. They sold their individual church properties in Laramie and bought the property just a couple of miles outside of town, where the church is located at 4835 Fort Sanders Road. Their desire was to give people in Laramie the opportunity to hear about and find New Life in Christ.
In September of 2017, Pastors Matt & Melanie Baumgartner became the fourth lead pastors in the history of New Life Assembly of God Church. Their vision is to engage the community and demonstrate the love of God through relational ministry for the whole family that goes beyond the four walls of the church or a Sunday morning experience. We believe that God has uniquely positioned New Life Church for this moment and together we can fulfill our purpose. Many things have changed over the past 10-15 years since New Life was formed but one thing that remains is that our world needs to hear about Jesus and see God's love in action. We believe that God has called us to show Laramie that love.
WHO WE ARE
New Life Church is a group of people that believes that the local church is family where everyone is welcome and where there is a place for everyone to belong. Much like the early church in the book of Acts we love God, we love each other and we love to do life together. We belong to the Wyoming Ministry Network and the Assemblies of God USA.
New Life Church exists so that people far from God can experience New Life in Christ.

We exist so that people far from God can experience New Life in Christ and become lifelong followers of Jesus. Our vision as a church is to: Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose, and Make a Difference.
