New Life Church believes in our students and families and understands that the added expense of going back to school is often a burden on families. In 2018 New Life began the first Back2School Giveaway by purchasing 50 backpacks and filling them with school supplies.

 

Each year the event has grown and on August 15th, 2020 New Life expanded beyond backpacks and partnered with Sole Mission to provide new shoes and socks in addition to backpacks and school supplies. The event outgrew the church and was moved to the Albany County Fairgrounds where 185+ kids and over 90 families were served.

We look forward to serving even more families this year!  Our next Back2School Giveaway will be on August 13th, 2023 at the Albany County Fairgrounds from 2pm - 4 pm.
